How we help

The Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland is a leading and trusted provider of cyber services, training and advice. We are dedicated to protecting organisations across Scotland, and as a social enterprise we’re not like any other cyber support provider. We reinvest in our cyber community, ensuring that every business, charity, membership body or social housing organisation we work with, no matter the size or structure, has access to the resources they need to stay secure.

By combining our expertise with a socially driven mission, we’re reshaping how cyber support is delivered – built on trust, collaboration, and a commitment to creating a safer, digital future for all.

How have we helped other organisations?

We chose to do Cyber Advance because it means we are not only meeting basic security standards, but digging deeper to find any hidden risks while making sure our staff know how to handle security threats.

Having ethical hackers onsite brought several benefits including hands on learning for our IT Officer and the reassurance that if significant threats were discovered meant we could act immediately.

Cyber Advance is excellent value for money giving us more protection, without stretching our budget which is great for a small charitable organisation.

Against the backdrop of an ever-evolving cyber landscape, we decided it was time to get some professional guidance to check if we were on track or gracefully veering off the side of the internet highway.

Luckily, we were put in contact with the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland. They took us through a painless MOT that highlighted our strengths, weaknesses and most importantly, it signposted the areas we needed to focus on in order to move towards certification.

There service becomes less of a 'Why you should conduct an MOT' and much more of a question of 'Can you afford not to?'. Here's to working together in 2025!

Cyber Advance is a highly cost-effective way of benchmarking you company’s security posture, giving you visibility of where to focus your efforts first.

It’s vendor agnostic, so you know you’re getting the best advice from industry experts without any sales agenda.

The opportunity to have a team of ethical hackers onsite testing your defenses, challenges your security team to perform at their highest level and demonstrates to your organisation how serious you are about keeping them secure.
